what to wear with boots this fall

by Kristina Morgan | | 0 Comments

as the weather only continues to get colder this season, it is important to invest in a pair of boots that will last you through rain, snow, and sleet– whatever may come your way. and of course, nothing keeps a woman’s feet warmer than a sturdy pair of boots. over the knee boots are not only versatile, but also functional, and perfect for almost any event or outing that you may be faced with. styling an outfit with a pair of boots can be tricky for some, here are a few outfit ideas for this fall.

for your next date night with that special someone, go retro with your boots. pair your knee-high boots with a little black dress. you can complete your look with a printed bomber jacket and a black clutch. don’t forget to accessorize and remember to have some fun with it. think dangly earrings or a chunky necklace.

the office

over the knee boots are great to wear for a busy day at work. choose something flat or with a little bit of a heel, if you need that extra inch of height. pair with a pencil skirt that hits either just above the knee or right below it. complete your office look with a fitted blouse and minimal accessories. a simple, yet sophisticated outfit – and great for work.

for a play date

have a play date with the kids this week and don’t know what to wear? channel your inner equestrian babe with your favorite pair of knee high boots. style your casual look with black skinny jeans and top it off with a loose t-shirt. dress down your ensemble with a cardigan or dress up your ensemble with a tailored blazer. and voila – a chic and fun outfit to flaunt on the spot!

night out

going out with your friends this weekend? whether you are stopping by the local bar for a couple of cocktails or the pool hall for some overdue gossip, play it cool. pair your stylish boots with faux leather leggings and a comfy, oversized sweater. layer on some bangles and rings for a more edgy vibe.
